Jr. Doula

This 2-day hands-on event will help children learn and prepare for a home birth.

Kids will learn:

Will hear from a seasoned Jr. Doula What a home birth space will look like How to be a Jr. Doula Prepare kids for life with a newborn Preparing kids for home birth Age appropriate for 7-13 years old

Children will leave:

Feeling inspired and strong Made aware ahead of time of what to expect Proud of their certification Happy to have met other home-birth kids!

The goal is to start getting our community to accept home birth as normal instead of something to fear. *In this training we are strictly teaching the children about the birth space and what to expect and what the children can do with their training. Things like this can help a child feel empowered instead of feeling helpless and confused which can enhance the birthing process further. Having our little ones to understand the benefits of home birth is a wonderful thing. Trainings are taught by a Midwife
